Well, you know you are getting close to the end when you open up your last bag of sunflower seeds. For those that don’t know, I am a bit of a sunflower seed freak and I am getting down to the end of the supply. The real American David & Sons- Ranch Flavor Sunflower Seeds are not easy to find over here and our Offensive Coordinator, Brad Arbon, hit me up with a major supply at the beginning of all this two weeks ago.

It’s down to one game now, and we have used our time wisely in preparing for France. The game plan is installed and being continuously studied (Ihope) by the players. Now, we are spending time breaking down more film to pick up on some tendencies. This will be a great help in our play calling. It’s always much more fun when you have enough time to properly prepare for your opponent.

For fun tonight we got together to watch a movie as a group- ‘Stepbrothers’ with Will Farrell. It was hilarious stuff. One cannot get enough laughter and I was laughing my butt off. Tomorrow it’s a morning review meeting and walk through, pre-game meal, then off to the stadium to take care of business.

Even with being banged up a little I believe we are a much better team than when we opened up with Mexico a week ago. We will see if the players can perform to their potential. There has been some negative talk over the course of the tournament regarding various aspects of the National Team program and it will be great to finish on a positive note. I just know that EVERYONE involved with this team either as a player, coach, or support staff has busted their butts to make this the best team possible and I am proud to be a part of it. I greatly look forward to tomorrow.

Servus!
